!!Grade descriptors

Some courses are standards-referenced which means there are no percentage allocations to grades. This includes all common core courses. The philosophy department has adopted the following standards ("grade descriptors") for all such courses.

Grades for common core courses are determined by the quality of the work rather than comparative performance.
These are the standards for the various grades:
