Prizes for undergraduate students
Man Yuek King (文若瓊) Memorial Prize in Philosophy
The Philosophy Department received a generous donation from Mr. Man Yuek King’s estate, and set up The Man Yuek King Memorial Prize in Philosophy in 2016. Up to two prizes (HK$5,000 each) shall be awarded annually to undergraduate philosophy students with excellent results in philosophy courses.

Charles and Lillian Moore Memorial Prize in Philosophy
Charles and Lillian Moore Memorial Prize in Philosophy – In 1982, Professor F.C.T. Moore of the Department of Philosophy donated a sum for the establishment of a prize in philosophy in memory of his parents.

External Examiner’s Prize
In June 2000, the External Examiner of the Department of Philosophy offered to donate a book prize of the value of $250 to a student from the 1999-2000 academic year onwards. The last prize was awarded in 2015-16.
