Unconscious recognition of emotional facial expressions.

Auditory Evoked Potential (AEP) of blindsight patients GY and DB are recorded. Happy face (visual) + happy voice -> high AEP Angry face (visual) + angry voice -> high AEP mismatch -> low AEP So AEP tests for emotional congruency

Same result for visual presentation to blind area! But not for pictures (e.g. car crashes)
