Signup procedure
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. You might be penalized if you don't follow the instructions.
- This blog will be used for tutorial signup: URL = http://cchu9005.blogspot.com/
- See the table above for the tutorial timeslots.
- There are 20 posts corresponding to the 20 tutorial groups (group 1, group 2, etc.). To signup for a group, post a comment to that particular post with YOUR FULL NAME, e.g. Felix Ha Ha Chan. The comment function will be switched on later.
- The first 11 students who posted their names to a group will be assigned to that group. The time will be determined by the order of the comments and the timestamp associated with the comment.
- You can post as "anonymous" user but make sure you type your full name in the comment.
- When you click on a post it will display the number of comments. If the post for a group has 11 or more comments, this means the group is full. (Unless someone has signed up more than once, in which case you can still signup.)
- Because many students might be signing up at the same time, it is possible that a group is already full when you managed to post a comment. In other words, the order of your comment is > 11. Then you should immediately find another free group to join.
- If a student signs up to more than one group that has an open place, the student will be penalized and randomly assigned to a group.
- Once you have successfully signed up, 5 marks will be deducted for any change of tutorial timeslot (even if you make a mistake and sign up to the wrong group).
