Content guidelines

The discussion should:

  • describe the drowning child example and explain what it is supposed to show;
  • summarize Singer's discussion of some potential objections to his position;
  • explain why Singer thinks that "our traditional moral categories are upset.";
  • include a discussion of your own position - explain whether you agree or disagree with Singer, in what way, and what your reasons are;
  • include a list of references at the end, citing the two articles above in the APA format (American Psychological Association). You can cite other sources in your essay as well if you want. But make sure you include them in your list of references.

Read these guidelines too. Marks will be deducted if you repeat the same mistakes.
