- [31 Oct] The video for the guest lecture showing the powerpoint file is now online. The link appears in a box called "Panopto Focus" on the course moodle page at the top right hand corner.
- [23 Oct] Guidelines for the analytical essay is now online.
- [22 Oct] There will be an external speaker for the guest lecture on 30 Oct. The speaker will only give one lecture from 2:30 - 4:15pm during section A. The lecture will be recorded on video. Section B will not meet on that day. A link to the video will be posted when it becomes available. About the speaker - Mr. Wong Tak Sang. Weekend farmer since 2002. - [3 Oct] Some more detailed information on the second assignment.
- [2 Oct] Thank you for your donation to UNICEF during the lectures! We collected HK$1520.6 in section A, and $1016.7 in section B. A total of $2600 has been donated to UNICEF online. I will post the receipt here when it is available. There were a few foreign coins but it might not be possible to donate them.

Assessment (100% coursework)
- Tutorial participation (10%) : 8 weekly group tutorials
- Short assignments (60%): Logic exercise (10%), argument summary (20%), analytical essay (30%)
- Special projects (30%): Reflective journal (15%), website project (15%)
- You are also required to answer some very short survey questions online. These will not be graded and no preparation is needed.

- Late submission policy: -20% for each day that is late.
