Critical thinking is an important part of any educational curriculum, crucial for the development of a vibrant economy and civil society. The aim of this website is to provide free online learning resources on critical thinking, to assist teachers and students alike, both in Hong Kong where the project is based, and in other countries.

This project is supported by a teaching development grant from the Hong Kong Government's University Grants Committee, as well as funding from the University of Hong Kong. We would like to thank both institutions for their financial support. The project is currently hosted by the Philosophy Department at the University of Hong Kong.

The project web site, as the major output/deliverable of the project, has made an impressive impact on the teaching and learning of the host institution as well as some other local and overseas institutions. In particular, the curriculum reforms of the relevant courses in the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Baptist University arising out of the development of this project is commendable.
